“There’s No Basketball on Mars” Official Book-Release Fundraiser to Benefit Exceptional Minds — Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Mason Park (10500 Mason Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311) on the grass and under the trees near the corner of Mason Avenue and Hiawatha Street. YA novelist Craig Leener will sign his newest book (There’s No Basketball on Mars), as well as copies of his Zeke Archer Basketball Trilogy. Lots of free stuff: Loads of Bazooka Joe Bubblegum, plus a drawing for a chance to win an autographed Wilson basketball, signed by, um, Zeke Archer himself, and a 100% cotton T-shirt with the classic Topps Bazooka Joe Bubblegum logo! And bring your baseball mitt for a spirited game of catch. The author will donate all proceeds from the sale of books to Los Angeles–based Exceptional Minds, an academy and studio that prepares young adults on the autism spectrum for careers in animation, visual effects, 3D gaming and other related fields in the entertainment industry.
